Kathmandu Valley sees 252 new cases of COVID-19 in past one day

KATHMANDU, Oct 27: The Kathmandu Valley has recorded 252 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past one day.

KATHMANDU, Oct 27: The Kathmandu Valley has recorded 252 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past one day.


Of the 570 new cases recorded across the country, 252 were detected in the Valley, which accounted for 44.21 percent.

According to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 225 people in Kathmandu, four in Bhaktapur and 23 in Lalitpur districts were diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Of the total infected in the Valley, 155 are males and 97 are females.


So far, as many as 69,248 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Valley.
