Kathmandu Valley recorded 4,198 new cases of COVID-19 in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, May 9: The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 4,198 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 3,161 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu, 533 in Lalitpur and 504 in Bhaktapur were detected in the past 24 hours.

Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur are among the districts witnessing the highest single-day rises of COVID-19 and highest number of active cases.
