MAKWANPUR, Oct 4: Due to the landslides that occurred with the rain last night, two road sections connecting Hetauda to Kathmandu have been blocked since this morning.

Laxmi Bhandari, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makwanpur, said that a landslide at Bhattedanda in Lalitpur district under the Kantilokpath road section connecting Hetauda to Kathmandu has blocked traffic since this morning.

Similarly, landslides have blocked traffic at various places under the Kulekhani-Sisneri road section. Bhandari said that preparations are being made to remove the landslide debris from both the road sections by this afternoon and bring the traffic into operation. She has asked the vehicles plying these sections of the road to seek alternate routes.
