KATHMANDU, Feb 19: RPP Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa has accused Rastriya Prajatantra Party (TPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden of trying to end his political future. Thapa said that he was forced to launch a new campaign after the monarchy sided with the faction and ignored the requests made by the party’s leadership.
Speaking at a program organized to launch the manifesto of his newly-formed party, RPP Nepal, in the capital on Saturday, Thapa claimed that he had to leave the party after feeling helpless and humiliated by Lingden's way of running the party in his own manner and trying to push him away from the party. He shared that he did not break the party into two groups despite having a majority of supporters.
