KANCHANPUR, August 18: A case of Kala-azar (leishmaniasis), a disease that is caused by a parasite transmitted through the sand fly bites, has been detected in Kanchanpur.
Padam Chaudhary of Ganeshpur of Shuklafanta Municipality-1 has been tested positive for the parasitic disease known as black fever. He has been admitted to the Seti Zonal Hospital based in the district since the past one week, according to the family source.RSS
