'Kajiba' at Theatre Mall to be staged on Sept 24

KATHAMNDU, Sept 19: In view of upcoming Dashain festival, the Theatre Mall in Kathmandu Mall is going to stage a play relating to the Festival and cultural aberrations in the name of festivity.

KATHAMNDU, Sept 19: In view of upcoming Dashain festival, the Theatre Mall in Kathmandu Mall is going to stage a play relating to the Festival and cultural aberrations in the name of festivity.


The floor will be opened for the public for the play 'Kajiba', carrying a message of victory of truth over evil and non-violence is written and conceptualized by Durga Dahal. 

It will be staged only for a single day on September 24. However, it will be performed in two shows(at 1 pm and 4 pm).

Shining a light on the play, Director Ajaya Adhikari 'Sushil', said, "We have attempted to unveil various aberrations and anomalies plaguing our society in the name of celebration of Festival through Kajiba." 


"Although the Dashain celebration glorifies the triumph of good over evil, the essence seems to be lost amidst the fanfare of celebrations in the passage of time." RSS (photo available)
