KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Jumla and Humla experienced its first snow of the year after sudden change in weather on Tuesday. While the snow has affected daily life, farmers growing winter crops have rejoiced. Without a year of snow, much of the winter crops had started to dry.
Likewise, with drought, viral diseases were also on the rise in Jumla. In both the districts, snow as much as five inches can be found. During winter, snowfall was expected to happen twice or thrice.
