According to Suraj KC, Paswan, who was riding a motorcycle (Ja 4 Pa 6956), was asked to stop during a security check. But, Paswan did not stop.
When followed by the police, Paswan opened fire and was killed in retaliatory fire. Police said several cases of abduction, extortion and bombing have been filed against Paswan.
