KATHMANDU, April 27: Jitendra Pariyar has set men's singles final date with defending champion Samrakshak Bhushan Bajracharya in the ongoing Citizens Bank Open Tennis Tournament on Thursday. Jitendra beat Pranav Khanal 6-3 in the final set which was postponed for Thursday due to lack of time a day ago.

Earlier in the two sets held on Wednesday, finalist Jitendra had register 7-5 win in the first set while he lost the second set 3-6 to Pranav.
Meanwhile, Jitendra won the men's doubles title on the same day. Jitendra along with Kumar Adhikari defeated the pair of Santosh Khatri and Dawa Sherpa in straight sets of 6-3, 6-3 in the summit clash played at the National Sports Council (NSC)'s tennis court, Tripureshwar.
In the mixed doubles, the pairs of Sri Ram Magar and Ira Rawat, Samrakshak and Mayanka Rana are set to compete in the final clash. In the semifinal matches, Sri Ram and Ira overcame the pair of Ganga Sharma and Shakti Sharma 6-3, 6-2 while Samrakshak and Mayanka saw off the pair of Nabin Pun and Prerana Koirala 6-2, 6-2.
