SAPTARI, July 14: Central president of Nepali Janata Dal Haricharan Shah Wednesday said his party will not participate in voting for the formation a majority government.

Speaking at a press meet in Rajbiraj, he said a majority government cannot take peace process and constitution writing to a logical end and such government will not last many days.

He said the Maoist combatants should not be integrated into the Nepali army before constitution is written.

Shah said the ethnic and regional slogans of different groups are pushing the country into a serious disaster.

Upon return to Kathmandu, he said his party will focus on upcoming party general convention set for third week of September.
