KATHMANDU, May 14: Primary shares of CEDB Hydropower Development Company were allotted on Friday.
Issue manager Sunrise Capital shared that as many as 234,195 applicants were awarded 10 units of share each through a lucky draw. Similarly, four other investors got 11 units each.
Of the 1,685,627 valid applications received, 1,451,432, however, returned empty-handed. As many as 4,442 applications were withheld.
The company had issued a total of 25,18,230 units. Of the total issue, two percent shares were allocated for the employees of the company while five percent other shares were set aside for mutual funds. The remaining 2,341,954 units were offered to the general public.
