Intrepid Nepal hosts philanthropic futsal event in Kathmandu to support non-profit organizations

KATHMANDU, Oct 21: Intrepid Nepal, the destination management company of the globally renowned Intrepid Travel, celebrated The Intrepid Foundation (TIF) Month with a grand philanthropic Futsal event that brought together prominent tourism businesses in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Oct 21: Intrepid Nepal, the destination management company of the globally renowned Intrepid Travel, celebrated The Intrepid Foundation (TIF) Month with a grand philanthropic Futsal event that brought together prominent tourism businesses in Nepal.


The event, held at River Field Futsal on October 18, in Khusibu, Kathmandu, aimed to raise funds to support non-profit organizations partnering with The Intrepid Foundation.

The participating teams included Hotel Marshyangdi, Hotel Moonlight, Ace Hotels & Restaurants, Mandala Heritage Inn, and Satkar Restaurant. The competition was fierce, with each team showcasing their Futsal skills and a strong commitment to philanthropy. In the end, it was Satkar Restaurant that claimed the winning trophy, while Ace Hotels & Restaurants secured the runner-up position. Mandala Heritage Inn received the Best Player Award, recognizing their outstanding contribution to the event.

In Nepal, the Intrepid Foundation supports three remarkable partners. Eden Reforestation Projects, an organization committed to restoring forests in Kenya and Nepal while providing meaningful employment opportunities to local communities. Forget Me Not mission is to rescue and support young people who have experienced life in institutionalized orphanages, working to stop orphanage trafficking. Seven Women empowers marginalized women in Nepal, helping them achieve social and economic independence.
