Harisiddhi, Chaur emerge victorious

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Harisiddhi Futsal and Chaur Futsal emerged victorious in the ongoing Red Bull National Futsal League on Wednesday. Harisddhi defeated Kirtipur Futsal in group B match while Chaur Futsal registered victory over Imperial Futsal in group A.

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Harisiddhi Futsal and Chaur Futsal emerged victorious in the ongoing Red Bull National Futsal League on Wednesday. Harisddhi defeated Kirtipur Futsal in group B match while Chaur Futsal registered victory over Imperial Futsal in group A.



Harisiddhi defeated Kirtipur 4-3 in the match held at its home turf. Rajesh Limbu scored a hat-trick for home team while Lal Bahadur Tamang added another goal. Likewise, Apex Maharjan netted two goals for Kirtipur and Yaman Maharjan notched one goal. Harisddhi's Rajesh was declared the-man-of-the-match. 



After the win, Harisiddhi has climbed on top of group B table collecting 11 points from six matches. Sankhamul Futsal and Tahachal Futsal are in the second and third positions respectively with equal 10 points from five matches each. Likewise, the losing side Kirtipur has collected four points from six matches. 



In the second match of the day, Chaur produced a thumping 7-2 victory over visiting Imperial.



Rabi Jung Shah, Sudip Gurung and Sanjog Maharjan netted two goals each for Chaur at its home turf while Sanjay Singh Thakuri added one goal. Similarly, Nirajan Gaire and Dipak Ghising notched one goal each for Imperial. Chaur's goalkeeper Yudin Khadka was declared the-man-of-the-match. 



Chaur and Imperial have both collected seven points each playing equal six matches in the group A. Likewise, Kick Off Futsal, which has maintained its cent percent winning streak in the league, is on top of the group with 15 points from five matches.

The event being held in the home and away league format features 16 teams. The participating teams are divided into two groups. The winner and the runner up teams will bag purse of Rs 1 million and half of the amount respectively.
