Interviews completed for all five NEPSE CEO candidates

Interviews of all five candidates shortlisted for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) were completed on Wednesday. Each candidate presented their individual work plans at the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

KATHMANDU, March 19: Interviews of all five candidates shortlisted for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) were completed on Wednesday. Each candidate presented their individual work plans at the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

The MoF had formed a recommendation committee under the leadership of Sewanta Pokharel to oversee the CEO selection process. The committee shortlisted Chudamani Chapagain, Narad Kumar Luitel, Purna Prasad Acharya, Badri Prasad Pyakurel, and Hemanta Basyal as the top five candidates for interviews and evaluation.


Following the interviews, the committee will recommend three names based on the candidates' performance and the merit of their work plans. The Cabinet meeting scheduled for Thursday will make the final appointment, selecting one individual from the three recommended candidates.
