This is a remarkable achievement, especially since it was accomplished during a difficult period following the major earthquakes of April and May, said a statement issued on Wednesday by UN Resident Coordinator on behalf of the international community in Nepal.
"The agreement is a significant step forward in the peace process and towards the completion of the foundational document that will guide the country's future development," read the statement.
"The international community encourages Nepal's political forces to redouble efforts to complete the constitution drafting process in the spirit of compromise and the broad aspirations of the Nepali
people."
