Mentioning the lack of legal provisions for the implementation of federalism, Speaker Ghimire indicated that if laws related to the Civil Service Act, Police Act, and Education Act are enacted, the problems observed in the implementation of the constitution can be resolved.

He highlighted that during the recently concluded budget session; parliament passed a bill to conclude the peace process, which has been in limbo for 20 years, approved the budget on time, and formed a parliamentary special investigation committee regarding the embezzlement of cooperative funds that has submitted its report to the government. He noted that parliament has successfully completed its work despite challenges.
