Having fled what the UN has called a genocide in their home country of Myanmar, large numbers of them face repatriation to the place from which they recently fled. The return process is due to begin today and is supposedly going to be conducted on a voluntary basis. According to UN interviews though, the desire to be repatriated is absent among almost all. The threat of being moved back has led to refugees fleeing their designated camps to go into hiding. Our infographic uses UNHCR data to paint a picture of who the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh are.
