White House chief economic advisor Gary Cohn has resigned joining a string of
recent departures by high-level personnel and further fueling concerns that the Trump administration is in chaos. The Trump Administration has seen the highest rate of turnover among White House staff in decades, according to the Brookings Institution. Team Trump saw a 34 percent turnover rate during the president’s first year. The next-highest turnover rate for an administration’s first year was Ronald Reagan’s, with 17% of senior aides leaving their posts in 1981.
