The fire that engulfed the house of local Ram Ashish Mahato incurred loss of property worth rs 1.25 million, confirmed the Bardiya Area Police Office.
According to Deputy Superintendant of Police Ramesh Pandit, the sparks coming out from thrasher while harvesting wheat broke out fire at Mahato's two-storied wooden house at 8.00 pm last night.
The fire turned into ashes the house including cash, gold, silver, utensils, clothes, furniture, cupboards and food grains, said DSP Pandit. RSS
