PARSA, Oct 13: A drunken man was killed after falling into an open water-filled gutter last night in Birgunj.
Gopal Sharma, 30, from Ganeshman Chowk of Birgunj Sub Metropolis – 6 was excessively drunk at the time he fell into the gutter and drowned.
Sharma fell into a three feet deep gutter near the Mahavir temple and could not get out, Inspector Jeevlal Judali, Chief of Ward Police Office, Birta confirmed.
Passersby noticed the body in the gutter and informed the police this morning. Sharma's body has been taken to Narayani Sub Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination. RSS
