CHITWAN, April 2: An Indian vegetable truck container smuggling 10 tons of banned chicken meat and fish alongside vegetables was confiscated on Sunday midnight. The vehicle, 70 B T 1776 was confiscated at Ramnagar, Chitwan.
Following the seize, police have destroyed the meat products. “As they were importing banned chicken meat, the driver and his assistant have been held in custody,” Jhanak Poudel, Chairman of Nepal Poultry Farm Association.
