Indian national dies at Narayani COVID-19 Hospital

Birgunj, July 26: An Indian national died while undergoing treatment at Narayani COVID-19 Hospital on Sunday morning.

Birgunj, July 26: An Indian national died while undergoing treatment at Narayani COVID-19 Hospital on Sunday morning.


The deceased was a 65 years old businessman from India. He has been running a business in Adarsh Nagar, Birgunj.


Although the result of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test of the old man is still awaited, he was tested positive for COVID-19 in the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) conducted earlier on Saturday.

He was admitted to Narayani Hospital on Saturday afternoon as he complained of fever, cough and breathing difficulties. After collecting his swab samples for the PCR test, he was referred to Corona Hospital for further treatment.


According to Dr Niraj Kumar Singh, the old man was also suffering from heart disease and diabetes.
