Indian grants for restoration of Patan, Bungamti

KATHMANDU, July 5: Government of India has extended a support of Rs 22.4 million for restoration of historical and cultural sites in Lalitpur.

KATHMANDU, July 5: Government of India has extended a support of Rs 22.4 million for restoration of historical and cultural sites in Lalitpur.



The amount will be used for restoration of Nagbahal Tole, Kul Devta Agan Ghar, BhindyaLachi Chapa Lukushi Pati of Patan and Ganga Pokhari of Bungmati.



These areas were damaged in earthquake of April last year.



Indian ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae on Saturday inaugurated the reconstruction program in Lalitpur, according to a statement received on Tuesday.
