Indian Army Chief Dwivedi arrives in Nepal (With Photos)

KATHMANDU, Nov 20: India's Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Upendra Dwivedi has arrived in Nepal. General Dwidevi is here to receive the honorary title of general of Nepal’s army.

KATHMANDU, Nov 20: India's Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Upendra Dwivedi has arrived in Nepal. General Dwidevi is here to receive the honorary title of general of Nepal’s army.


The Nepalese Army has stated that President Ram Chandra Paudel will confer the honorary title of general on Dwivedi on November 21.

Since Nepal and India have a tradition of conferring the honorary title of 'CoAS General' on each other's military chiefs, the Indian Army chief has arrived in Nepal to receive this honor.
