KATHMANDU, Aug 21: Indian Minister of External Affairs (MEA) Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday afternoon at Baluwatar.
Similarly, Indian minister Jaishankar is scheduled to call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Thursday morning at 10.
Indian MEA Jaishankar is in Kathmandu to attend the Fifth Meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission slated to begin on Wednesday afternoon. The Joint Commission Meeting will review the overall state of bilateral relations, and various areas of cooperation such as connectivity and economic partnership, trade and transit, power and water resources sectors, culture, education and other matters of mutual interest, according to a statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
