IGP Rana inquires juniors' problems

KATHMANDU, March 16: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kuber Singh Rana today rang up the police Head Constables and ordinary personnel to learn about their problems and complaints.



IGP Rana called up the Head Constables and the junior personnel at different offices and at outposts in remote areas from his chamber at the Police Headquarters and inquired about their problems.



In course of their telephonic conversation with the Police Chief, the Head Constables and the junior personnel related their respective problems and requested him to address them.



After listening to the problems communicated by the Head Constables and other personnel, IGP Rana instructed the police officers at the regional police offices, the district police offices and the units concerned to undertake necessary initiatives for resolving the problems, the Central Police Newsroom stated.



In course of their phone talk with the IGP, the Head Constables and the junior personnel raised issues like transferring or assigning them on deputation to the place convenient to them and to make arrangements so that husbands and wife serving in the police be kept in the same unit and to return to their own postings.
