KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sarbendra Khanal is scheduled to visit Kanchanpur on Thursday while the high-level task force formed to investigate the rape and murder of 13-year-old Nirmala Panta demanded to send a special investigation team.

During briefing on Wednesday with Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, members of probe committee, DIG Ram Kumar Shrestha, Director of Investigation Bureau Hari Gurung and DIG Basanta Baniya of APF demanded to send a special investigation team of Nepal Police.
