Police say they found the body of 30-year-old Samunesa Khatun in a pool of blood, with throat slit and several stab wounds.
Her husband, Serajul Mansur, had recently returned home after a stint in Malaysian job and the couple´s relations had not been good.[break]
Police said Khatun had been protesting about Mansur´s extramarital affair and was also unhappy about her husband not providing money.
“A meeting was held on Saturday in the police station as Samunesa had found Mansur in compromising position with another women and since then he might have been palnning to kill her,” said Police inspector Ram Nath Ghimire. Police have found blood stained shoes belonging to Mansur from the crime scene.
Mansur had been living in the house of Samunesa´s uncle Mahama Hussein after returnign from Malaysia. According to Samunesa´s father Layak Miya, Hussein was preparing to marry his daughter with Mansur. Hussein and Mussur are at large.
