KATHMANDU, March 6: A huge fire has broken out at Damauli in Tanahun district. A huge number of security personnel have been deployed to control the fire that broke out from a hardware store. According to Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Yuvraj Khadka of the district police office, a large number of police personnel are trying to control the fire at the moment.
“The fire broke out from a hardware store but it is not exactly known whose shop it started from. A helicopter is being used to drop water on the site of the raging fire but it is still out of control,” DSP Khadka said. “The smoke from the fire is also making it difficult to control it,” he added.

People living in nearby houses have started to gather their belongings to prevent them from burning in the fire. A team of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and locals are currently making efforts to control the fire.
