KATHMANDU, June 12: The House of Representatives is set to meet again today (Thursday) at 3 PM at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor. However, the session is expected to face continued obstruction from opposition parties, who have been demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and the formation of a parliamentary investigation committee over the controversial visit visa case.
On Wednesday, the House meeting was initially scheduled for 1 PM but began late at 3:15 PM. The session was obstructed shortly after it began, prompting Speaker Devraj Ghimire to adjourn it until today.
Opposition continues House obstruction

Despite an agenda that included Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel’s proposal for general discussions on the annual revenue and expenditure estimates for fiscal year 2082/83, and the presentation of the Federal Civil Service Bill report by the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, regular parliamentary business has remained stalled since Jestha 13 due to the protests
Opposition parties, including the CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and Aam Janata Party, have vowed to continue their protest until their demands are addressed.
