House committee seeks progress report

KATHMANDU, NOv 11: The Development Committee of parliament has asked the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority (KVDA) to come up with the latest road expansion progress report regarding expansion of Tripureshwar-Kalimati-Kalanki road section within a week.

The KVDA has been involved in expansion work in Tripureshwar-Kalanki road section since last year. Officials from the KVDA informed that locals from some of the areas have gone to court against the expansion, forcing them to halt the expansion work.
