KATHMANDU, April 9: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been adjourned for 15 minutes after the main opposition party Nepali Congress obstructed it.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire said that the parliament session had been adjourned so that the meeting would be held after 15 minutes.

Today, as soon as the meeting started, the lawmakers of the main opposition party Nepali Congress rose from their seats and started protesting.
Upon receiving a chance to speak, NC Whip Sushila Thing demanded the formation of a parliamentary committee to investigate the alleged involvement of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in irregularities related to cooperatives. She asserted that the government's conduct was irresponsible and urged that no further proceedings should take place until the committee is formed.
