FSP leaders demanded that the 11-point agreement forged among the four top parties and 25-point ordinance endorsed by the president be scrapped. It further demanded for delineating of the constituencies on the basis of population and resignation of Chairman of Interim Government Council Khil Raj Regmi from the post of Chief Justice in the talks held at New Baneshwor.[break]
According to UML leader Raghuji Panta, the meeting ended inconclusively as it did not bear any fruits, adding that both the parties, however, have agreed to sit for talks again after holding discussions in their respective parties.
Various top leaders from the major parties were present during the talks.
Earlier, HLPC had also held talks with CPN-Maoist led alliance of 33 political parties and Upendra Yadav-led Federal Democratic Front (FDF) on Tuesday.
