KATHMANDU: A fresh round of talks held between High Level Political Committee (HLPC) and Federal Socialist Party on Tuesday evening ended without reaching any consensus on the demands put forth by the latter.

Talking to media persons after the meeting held at the HLPC´s Secretariat in New Baneshwar, FSP General Secretary Rajendra Shrestha said the talks could not make headway as HLPC appeared to have not done any homework on our demands.

“There was no progress. We decided to walk out from the talks as HLPC didn´t seem to have done any homework on our demands,” he said. The FSP has demanded 601-member CA, scrapping of the 25-point ordinance and 11-point political deal, dissolution of the HLPC and voting rights for Nepalis living abroad.
