Hits FM Music Award on Friday

KATHMANDU, Dec 13: “Please, don’t take this as a competition. This is not about labeling who is a better artiste. It is just an initiation to provide a platform to the deserving Nepali music artistes. And we value every support extended to us by people from all walks of life,” said Mandira Dhungel, program manager of Hits FM 91.2 MHz as she announced the final date of Close Up 13th Hits FM Music Award at a press conference held at The Sundhara Bakery Café in Sundhara on Saturday.[break]







“Close Up 13th Hits FM Music Award will take place on December 18, Friday, at the Army Officer’s Club in Bhadrakali,” she disclosed.



The final award ceremony will showcase five artistes nominated in each of the 19 categories, which would highlight various singles, albums and film soundtracks. These songs were registered for the competition at Hits FM 91.2 MHz between Baisakh 1 to Chaitra 31, 2065 BS.



Apart from felicitating who’s who from the music industry, the event will feature a power packed live performance by 1974 AD, Shiba Pariyar, Dambar Nepali, Anju Pant, Jagdish Samal, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Ananda Karki, Mandavi Tripathi and Shubani Moktan.
