"If the party fails to run as per its statute and does not settle the internal dispute, it is unable to earn people's trust," he warned, urging party leadership to make correction accordingly. At a cadres' meet organized at Birendranagar on Sunday, leader Singh, who is also the former general secretary of the party, further said reform in the party was essential. Unity among the party leaders and cadres can consolidate the party. According to him, it is the NC to protect and implement the constitution because it is the party that took a lead to bring the new constitution.

Moreover, leader Singh commented that there was no atmosphere conducive even for the Chief Minister to carry out his/her duty. He accused the present government of not acting for the implementation of constitution and federalism. Also speaking on the occasion were central members Hridayaram Thani and Khadga Bahadur Basyal, district president of the party, Kamal Raj Regmi.
