Himalayan Bank installs CCTV in Maitidevi temple

KATHMANDU, July 1:Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL) has installed closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera on the Maitidevi temple premises in KMC-30.

KATHMANDU, July 1:Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL) has installed closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera on the Maitidevi temple premises in KMC-30.


According to a statement issued by HBL, the bank handed over eight sets of high quality recording equipment as part of its corporate social responsibility amid a function held in Kathmandu.

"The equipment has been provided for security of historical and religious heritage. The camera can record 24 hours activities for 18 days," the statement added.


Manoj Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of the bank, handed over the cameras to Darshan Mahato, member secretary of Maitidevi Area Management Committee.
