Presenting the report Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is heads the seven-member taskforce, said they have so far resolved 39 out of the over 220 questionnaires. The 27-party mechanism formed the taskforce in a bid to resolve or narrow down differences over the contentious issues in the statute-drafting process.
Leaders said they will resume the meeting of the taskforce after November 14.
Similarly, the taskforce will not be able to continue its work for around a week starting November 20 due to the Maoist´s plenum.
Budget not before Nov 15
As Speaker Subas Nembang at the parliament meeting on Thursday announced the next House meeting on November 15, there is no possibility of bringing annual budget any time before that.
"This date was announced upon the recommendation of Business Advisory Committee and only after consulting Prime Minister Madhav Nepal and top leaders from the major political parties," said Speaker Nembang.
He said there is no possibility of House meeting prior to November 15.
The government can´t introduce the budget through ordinance since the parliament session is underway.
