Heavy fog blankets Terai regions as westerly winds partially influences weather across Nepal today

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Most parts of Terai districts are covered with heavy fog and fog  Since this morning. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently a partial influence of westerly winds in Nepal.

It is mostly clear in the hilly areas as well as the rest of the country.

According to the MFD, the weather will be partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas and rest of the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the highlands and Himalayan areas.

The MFD has said that the weather will be partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly parts of the country tonight. In addition, there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
