Hearing on the writ petition against PM Dahal today

KATHMANDU, June 13: The hearing on the writ petition filed against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is being held today at Supreme Court.

The writ petitioner has accused Prime Minister Dahal of abusing child soldiers when was the chief of the former rebel party.

A child soldier, Lenin Bista, filed a writ petition at the apex court against PM Dahal and his war-time deputy Dr Baburam Bhattarai, claiming that it was a war crime to force minors like him to be used as child soldiers and forcefully expel them from the camp as disqualified combatants during the armed conflict launched by the Maoists.

Bista has called for action against Prime Minister Dahal and former Prime Minister Dr Bhattrai.
