KATHMANDU, Dec 27: The hearing in the case against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane is extended to tomorrow as the proceedings at the Kathmandu District Court failed to conclude today. The court on Wednesday faced delays to address the rape allegations against the cricketer, leading to the adjournment of the case for further hearing.
Since last Sunday, the case against Lamichhane has been consistently heard in the bench presided over by Judge Shishir Raj Dhakal. Despite ongoing deliberations on Wednesday, the proceedings remained inconclusive, prompting the court to reschedule the case for the following day.
After the argument of Lamichhane 's lawyer and the counter argument of the victim side, the bench will announce the verdict.
