The news reports that much hyped Hattiban and Gokarna meetings yield no outcome, he said, adding that the talks shed lights on problems, disagreements and the basis for consensus.
Saying that the Gokarna meeting has prepared a proposal on how to complete the peace process, he said that none of the parties taking part in the meetings should backtrack now and at the same time should focus on its implementation.
All 27 parties in the Constituent Assembly are working for the timely promulgation of a new constitution, he said. "I am hopeful that disagreements seen in the past will be cleared within a week."
