KATHMANDU, March 29: Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Shalikram Jamkattel, has prepared to expand the cabinet.

Chief Minister Jamkattel has prepared to appoint Shailendra Man Bajracharya of Hamro Nepali Party as the Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Cooperatives.

Earlier, the Hamro Nepali Party had decided to withdraw its support to the government on March 22. The party withdrew its decision after CM Jamkattel agreed to appoint Bajracharya as a minister.

Although the Hamro Nepali Party has only two seats in the Bagmati provincial assembly, the role of this party is decisive in the Bagmati Provincial Assembly. The current ruling coalition will have a majority only after the Hamro Nepali Party participates in the government.
