In the title decider, Gyanu Baba beat Nepal Police Club 25-16, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20 to maintain their hundred percent winning record.[break]
In the first leg too, the champions had upset the departmental giants. Gyanu Baba gathered 39 points from 13 matches while Police finished second with 35 points.
Gyanu Baba bagged a purse of Rs 203,000 while Police received Rs 102,000 along with trophies.
In other matches of the day, Tops and Angel´s Heart emerged victorious. Tops eased past Martyrs Memorial Club (MMC), Kaski 25-19, 25-20, 25-17 to finish in third position with 29 points. They received a cash prize of Rs 51,000. Workers Martyrs Memorial Club, Kathmandu who finished fourth adding 25 points in their kitty got Rs 25,000.
MMC, Kaski and Angel´s Heart shared the fifth spot with 21 points and bagged a purse of Rs 20,000 each. Angel´s Heart defeated New Diamond 25-17, 25-18, 24-26, 25-18 on the final day. New Diamond, despite having equal points as that of MMC, settled for the sixth position on the basis of average points. Angel´s Heart secured seventh spot. New Diamond got Rs 15,000 while Angel´s Heart received Rs 10,000.

Ramila Tandukar of New Diamond was adjudged the best player of the tournament. She received an Anna Lifan scooter. Chuda Khadka (quicker) of Police, Pariksha Gurung (spiker) of Gyanu Baba, Kopila Uprety (blocker) of Police, Srijana Gurung (defense) of Tops and Sushila Thapa (lifter) of Police won the best player awards in their respective positions.
Altogether eight teams had contested in the event organized by Dhorpatan Sports Club.
