BHAKTAPUR, May 30: The National Examinations Board (NEB) has commenced this year's Grade 12 examinations across the country in one go.

NEB Chairperson Dr Mahashram Sharma said that Grade 12 exams have peacefully commenced at 1,292 exam centers of all the 77 districts at 8.00 AM this morning.

As many as 415,000 students from across the country are attending the exams to be concluded on June 8, Sharma shared.

Questions were sent online to all exam centers half an hour before the examinations commenced, he said. Arrangements have been made to make xerox copies of the question paper and distribute them to the examinees, he shared.

Due to the all-pervasive effects of the COVID-19 pandemic during the last two years, the questions were sent online to the home centers of the students. The same arrangement has been adopted this year as well.

The NEB has called on all stakeholders and citizens to help conduct the examinations in a peaceful, dignified and well-managed manner.
