KATHMANDU, June 15: The government has decided to hold local level elections in disputed Province-2 on September 18.
A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday took a decision to this effect.
With this decision, the local level polls will be conducted in three phases – the first phase of local level elections were held in Province 3, 4 and 6 on May 14, Province 1, 5 and 7 on June 28 while the third round of elections will be held on September 18 in Province 2.
The election results of the first round of elections have already come out except that of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
