“Youth should not be content with the current state of affairs. They must adopt a spirit of change and progress. However, expressing dissatisfaction by being reckless on social media is not the solution—it often results in family stress,” said Oli, “Instead of seeking jobs, youth must focus on creating jobs. The trend of going abroad for employment should be curbed by showcasing opportunities available within the country through entrepreneurship, employment, marketization, and innovation.”
PM Oli also stressed the need for continued creativity among youth and stated that national prosperity can be achieved through government efforts and collaborative development in areas like tunnels and waterways.
During the event, he visited an exhibition showcasing locally produced goods and innovations promoted by Idea Studio. Idea Studio founder Dr Tshering Lama and Kathmandu Model College Chairperson Rameshwar Aryal briefed the Prime Minister Oli on the ongoing efforts and achievements in youth innovation.
