KATHMANDU, May 24: Naya Shakti Nepal Coordinator and lawmaker Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that the government's policies and programs do not have concrete plan.
While taking part in the deliberations on the government’s policy and programs on Thursday, lawmaker Dr Bhattarai commented that the government's policy and programs are the most ambitious which lack concrete plans for the prosperity of the nation.

Dr Bhattarai, who is also former Prime Minister, urged the government to concretize the programs to institutionalize the federalism in the country.
He further shared that the policy and programs had mentioned the infrastructure development but clarity was utmost to achieve the goals.
Lawmaker Bhattarai also coordinator of Naya Shakti Nepal Party opined to invite foreign investment by keeping national interest in the center.
Dr Bhattarai stated that policy and programs were positive as it mentioned to double the per capita income, end unemployment, generate 5,000-megawatt power among others in five years were mentioned in the policy and program.
Similarly, lawmaker Bishal Bhattarai stressed on preparing the concrete foundation for the implementation of the policy and programs.
Lawmaker Yagya Raj Sunar said that the policy and programs were effective as it focused on various areas with concrete programs.
Deliberations on the government’s policy and programs presented by President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday have started in the House of Representatives today.
