The government talks team coordinated by Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Satya Pahadi and Morcha leader Prahlad Giri signed the agreement. [break]
As per the agreement, the Morcha will hand over its weapons to the government, while the peace ministry will initiate the process for withdrawing cases against leaders and cadres of the outfit.
According to Minister Pahadi, the outfit also handed over eight pistols to the government.
Pahadi has urged the armed groups operating in the country to come to the negotiating table. Similarly, Giri also urged all the armed outfits to enter mainstream politics through dialogues.
