“As COVID-19 vaccines are produced by limited countries, it has become a ‘political commodity’, but the government is committed to procuring vaccines at the earliest,” said Minister Tripathi during a press meet organized at the Ministry of Health and Population, assuring that the government will provide free vaccines to the people.

He also said that 5,000 government employees and 52,000 women volunteers will be mobilized for inoculation. “The government will start an inoculation drive within seven days after procuring the vaccine,” he said.
